MY CONTRIBUTION

Solo Product Designer — end-to-end product ownership across UX strategy, interaction architecture, and UI. Working in close collaboration with the Head of Developer and a fullstack development team to validate and deliver at every stage.

ROLE & CONTEXT

No design system. No flow documentation. No prior UX process. The live production app was the only reference point. My role wasn't to redesign screens — it was to build the product's entire UX foundation from scratch, while working directly with the Head of Developer to validate every decision against real technical constraints in real time.

CHALLENGE

Rebuilding the UX flow of a live fintech app — making it more user-friendly and visually modern, without disrupting the existing visual identity. Android OS patterns like the bottom navigation bar were non-negotiable. Every design decision was validated directly with the Head of Developer against technical feasibility in real time.

MAPPING & AUDIT

MAPPING & AUDIT

The starting point was the live production app. I mapped every screen, every state, every dead end — building a complete picture of what existed before proposing anything new. That audit became the shared reference point between design and development: a clear before, against which every improvement could be justified.

INTERACTION IMPROVEMENTS

INTERACTION IMPROVEMENTS

From the audit, I identified the highest-impact areas for redesign — focusing on user flow logic, screen hierarchy, and interaction consistency. New patterns were proposed in direct dialogue with the Head of Developer, validated against what the current architecture could actually support. No proposal without a feasibility check.

WIREFRAMING

WIREFRAMING

The project is currently in active wireframing phase. Interaction patterns are being translated into concrete screen layouts — defining spacing, component behaviour, and flow logic before any visual decisions are locked in. Each wireframe is reviewed with the development team to ensure technical alignment from the start.
